The “iCarly” star and his wife London recently welcomed their third child and announced the pregnancy, gender and arrival all in one Instagram post.

In a “rapid life update,” Kress, best known as Freddie Benson on the hit Nickelodeon show ‘iCarly,’ announced his wife’s pregnancy and the baby’s arrival all in one post featuring a carousel of photos.
“Quick life update!1. We are pregnant! ? 2. The man! ? 3. He’s here! ?,” the caption began.
She then explained how her two daughters, Rosie Carolyn, 5, and Evie Elise, 2, are doing as sisters.
“Lincoln William Kress showed up last week but it’s been too much fun here to have time to talk about it. Little Link was AWESOME, my wife was an absolute champ as always, our girls were the Big Sis dynamic duo, and Penny was very interested in the amazing smells that emanated from the strange wads we brought home. Keep living as a family ?,” the caption read.

Many fans and followers jumped into the comments section to leave congratulatory messages for the actor’s new bundle of joy.
“iCarly” costar Jaidyn Triplett shared, “Great!!!!! Congratulations to you. Tell London we all say – WooHoo!!!” and costar Laci Mosley wrote, “Congratulations loves!!!! ??”

Nathan Kress Says Becoming a Father Made Him Realize the Importance of Time

Becoming a father has brought many lessons for Kress, including awareness of the importance of time. When talking to PEOPLE last year about becoming a father, he said, “It has taught me that my time and my life are not mine.”
“And for this phase of life, there is a huge amount of investment required to raise well-rounded, loving, well-mannered and integrity children,” he explained.
“And because of that, I’ve had to really learn to prioritize my time and take advantage of the time I have with my kids, but then also not sacrifice too much of my time with my wife.”
Rewatching “iCarly” With Her Eldest Daughter

Last year, Kress told PEOPLE she was rewatching the original series with her 4-year-old daughter Rosie.
“When I found out the show was going on, we had a period of a few months where production hadn’t started but I knew I was going to be involved. One of the things I want to do is go back and watch the show because I know there will be details that I will forget,” Kress told PEOPLE.
“I wanted to get back to Freddie’s sound, how he spoke, how he reacted to things. So I did the math on how many episodes of ‘iCarly’ there were, and how little time I had between when the kids went to bed and when I needed to go to bed. I knew there was no way I would be able to watch all the episodes before we started production. So I actually started watching it with my oldest daughter.”

Kress said rewatching the show with her daughter was fun for both of them.
“He has his little routine when the credits roll. It goes through all the names. He’s like, ‘Dad’s coming! Dad’s coming! Dad’s coming! Dad!” he shared. “It was really fun to do that with him and have content that, even though he’s young, he can still understand and enjoy. And it’s really been a weird bonding experience for us.”
