“Meme King” Elon Musk was thrown off his high and mighty horse on his X app by rapper Ice Cube!
The “Ride Along” star caught the attention of the tech’s CEO, who teased him on the app. Almost a month after Tesla’s CEO announced that he’s running out of memes, he seems to have acquired more and turned the Cube into his joke.
However, there was no way out for the billionaire entrepreneur as the “It Was a Good Day” rapper brought the heat to him!
Ice Cube Hits Elon Musk With Hot Meme
On Thursday, the “Barbershop” actor clapped back at Musk for teasing him on the X platform. Musk posted a collage of memes that set the rapper’s career on fire. On one side of the collage is a picture of the rapper’s face, and on the other side is an image of a glass of water, implying that the rapper has melted.

Alongside the image was the caption, “Remember Ice Cubes? This is him now, is he old yet? In no time, the 54-year-old hip-hop artist answered by criticizing the tech CEO’s controversial control over his social media platform. He posted a meme collage showing the platform’s former bird logo on one side and a burning trash can on the other.
“Remember Twitter? This now, feeling stupid again?” the “Friday” actress wrote in the caption. Cube’s response to Musk isn’t surprising, as he’s known for clapping back at online trolls. In July, during an interview with Memphis’ K97 FM, he explained why he felt the need to hit back at his haters.
“You know, sometimes, you have to bus on them,” he said. “You can’t always take them in, you know what I mean? Sometimes you have to hit a corner and bust on them.”
He continued: “When you want to talk to me on Twitter, you can expect to get a response. Lettin’ stuff slide, lettin’ it ride — I mean, I know there’s a bunch of bots. Sometimes, you gotta slap a bot too, you know what I’m saying? You can’t take any stuff from no robot either.”
He concludes, “At the end of the day, it’s really just about standing up for yourself and not letting these people talk dirty to you.”

Tesla CEO Announces He’s Out of Memes
Musk’s provocative meme about the Cube comes a month after he announced he was running out of memes. The SpaceX boss tweeted a sensational confession about an image of a cat sitting on a gas stove staring at a wall. “I’m out of memes,” Musk wrote. “Nude starts tomorrow.”
The ironic meme has appeared on over 48 million X timelines, sparking a backlash. Many users of the platform asked, “Is he kidding?!” while other followers stated that they would follow him if he did. One fan called Musk the “meme king,” tweeting, “Long live Elon.”
“So that’s why you renamed the platform to X,” said another fan, adding to the growing number of “X-worth” jokes that filled the comments of his post. Elon Musk’s parody account added, “I’m also excited to share my first X-Video!”
Although the social media mogul loves to post memes, the authenticity of the joke has long been questioned by fans. Some users of the microblogging app have accused the tech billionaire of stealing memes and failing to give credit to the original creators.
X users have been calling Musk out in droves, urging him to give credit to the creators and retweet their memes instead of claiming them as his own. “Elon Musk really spent $44 billion so he could force everyone to read a bad meme he stole and reposted without credit,” one user wrote. “Probably the largest energy loss discovered so far in humans or animals.”

Another user referred to the app’s new logo, accusing the billionaire of stealing it. “Considering how often Elon Musk steals memes, I’m not surprised he steals logos now too,” the user wrote.
Elon Musk once responded to the claim in 2022, writing, “Well, if you make something that looks like a meme & someone (not me) cuts out your name, then it’s going to happen. Also, it’s only a 6/10 meme, so maybe back off off that high horse! The selfless art of the anonymous meme creator is something to admire.”
