Following the 21st anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Davidson’s sister, Casey Davidson, paid a heartbreaking tribute to their father.

Davidson has been open about her father’s tragic passing and the mental struggles she went through in the aftermath.
In 2018, the “King of Staten Island” actor revealed he wouldn’t have gotten into comedy if his father hadn’t died on 9/11.

He admitted he would be a construction worker in his hometown of Staten Island.
“If my father hadn’t died, I wouldn’t have become a comic. I would have been a construction worker in Staten Island or a basketball coach,” he said in 2018. “I learned what death is. That’s something you’re not supposed to learn until high school, when one of your friends falls asleep in the garage, or whatever.”
Davidson was seven years old, his sister was three when their father died.
Scott was only 33 years old at the time of his death.
“To know how something can be taken from you so early gives me a sense of ‘F*** it. Whatever, man.’ I can do stand-up and play around because hopefully the worst thing that ever happened to me happens,” he continued to reveal.
