Lauren Drain Kagan has come a long way since her childhood. He grew up as a member of the Westboro Baptist Church, infamous for its “homophobic picketing” cult as he was brought into the organization by his father when he was just 14 years old.
As he got older, he realized he didn’t agree with the Church’s beliefs, so he decided to leave the Church and start his social media career. But he lost his entire family because the 37-year-old did not have the support of his family as he thought.
“I struggled in the first six months. The first month was very difficult. I didn’t want to go originally. I’m not ready. It is a great sacrifice to leave the family. I miss my family so much. I love them so much. I feel like I’m letting them down, that I’m embarrassing and embarrassing,” she told Glamour. “I struggled because that was my family and my life for seven years.
