‘Shanu Taxi’ (2006) was Indraneel Bhattacharya’s debut film in which he played a minor role. He then worked in ‘One Night With The King,’ a Hollywood film starring Peeter O’Toole; the entire movie was filmed in Rajasthan, India.

After this, he worked in several daily soap operas such as ‘Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam’ (2009), ‘Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari’ (2009), Ram Milaye Jodi ‘ (2010-2012), ‘Gustakh Dil’ (2013-2014), and ‘Imlie’ (2020). His role as Dev in Imlie is very close to his heart. In an interview, he talked about it and said,
