Former President Donald Trump has lost 25 pounds — and gained an inch in height — since April, according to jail records filed Thursday after he surrendered to Fulton County authorities on charges related to his effort to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
The 77-year-old’s measurements, which have been reported, according to ABC News, show that Trump is 215 pounds with a height of 6’3″ —25 pounds lighter and 1 inch taller than when he was booked in Manhattan in April.
Trump’s weight left many users on X, formerly known as Twitter, in disbelief.
“215? That’s a crazy lie,” tweeted Rick Wilsonco-founder of The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump political action committee.
“If Trump (sic) weighed 215 pounds, then I’d have blonde locks past my shoulders,” Wilson, who is bald, tucked into the second tweet.

“215 pounds? There is no way!” Hollywood filmmakers Rob Reiner declared.
“There is ZERO chance Trump is 6’3″ and 215 pounds,” Democratic strategist Sawyer Hackett tweetedincluded an image of Trump’s booking details, which also listed the former president’s hair color as “blonde or strawberry” and his eye color as “blue.”
“He lied on that form should be another charge,” user X Addie argued.

Some X users also compared Trump’s height and weight to the star athlete, with side-by-side images showing a stark visual difference between them.
“Larry Fitzgerald – 6’3″, 218 lbs. Donald Trump – 6’3″, 215 lbs. LIKE HELL,” NFL writer Scott Kacsmar tweetedrefers to the former star NFL wide receiver.

Cable news anchors are equally confused by Trump’s Fulton County jail record.
“The resemblance is uncanny,” MSNBC host Rachel Maddow joked when a panelist noted that Trump’s dimensions were the same as Jackson’s.
“Even if he’s fasting, no way,” MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace argued, noting that Trump’s former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, had his weight listed at 240 pounds after he was sentenced at the Fulton County jail earlier Thursday.
“So, he’s lost 25 pounds since he became president is what we understand,” CNN host Jake Tapper said, “because he, I believe, Dr. Ronny Jackson said he weighed about 242 for his official physical, which people did it. The time was doubtful of that amount.”
Trump’s last physical exam as president, conducted in June 2020, measured him as 244 pounds and 6’3” tall. Based on the body mass index, the measurement would place him in the clinically obese category.
