This series is based on the true story of Anna Sorokin, a woman who works in New York, America. She is a German-born Russian who established her false identity as Anna Delvey in New York. Where Anna tells her new friend that she has a fortune of $60 million. He gets his friends to pay for his lavish hotel stays, restaurant bills and shopping sprees by reassuring him that his money is stuck in a foreign country.
