Iqra Shaikh hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Since childhood, he was very interested in acting and always aspired to choose a career in acting. Iqra is currently continuing her studies at Rose Manor Secondary School. Board exams are often stressful for most students, but Iqra has to deal with the pressure of shooting and exams. He recently appeared for the 10th board (SSC) exam.

Iqra Shaikh is famous for essaying the character of Malli in the TV series Harphoul Mohini, who is the lead sister in the show. The series depicts the story of Harphoul and Mohini intersecting with destiny and finding a way to overcome the obstacles of social norms and cultural differences.
She then made headlines for her role as Vaani Shandilya in the television daily drama serial Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein where two families from different social backgrounds meet in an attempt to find suitable matches for their children.
