A day and a half after the IDF raid on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, troops remain “in and around the hospital complex,” an Israel Defense Forces spokesman told CNN.
“Special forces are (conducting) a very specific, controlled operation,” the spokesman said on Thursday.
Israeli officials claimed Wednesday after the raids began that they had found “concrete evidence” of Hamas operating a military facility under Al Shifa, Gaza’s largest hospital.
The military also released photos showing caches of weapons and combat equipment found during the search.
