Israel kills Hamas commander behind one of heinous kibbutz attacks — another top leader also taken out

Two more Hamas leaders have been killed in targeted airstrikes in Gaza – including the commander who masterminded one of last week’s deadly attacks on an Israeli kibbutz, the Israeli military said Sunday.

The Israel Defense Forces claimed they “neutralized” Billal Al Kedra, commander of Khan Yunis Nukhba’s southern army, in the Gaza Strip late Saturday.

The military said Al Kedra was behind the killing of dozens of innocent Israelis when Hamas terrorists stormed the Kibbutz Nirim community Oct. 7 as part of a sneak attack on Israel.

It is unclear how many men, women and children died in the attack on their farming community.

But a painter who lives in the devastated community told CNN afterward, “They just slaughtered everybody.

“They kill children, babies, grandmothers.”

Footage released by the IDF shows missiles obliterating the building where Al Kedra is said to be hiding.

“Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist operations were also neutralized,” the army said in a statement.

“The IDF also attacked over 100 military targets located in Zaytun, Khan Yunis, and western Jabaliya,” the post said. This attack undermined the capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization by targeting its operational command center, a military compound, dozens of launchers, an anti-tank missile launch post and an observation post.”

In a separate strike on Sunday, Muetaz Eid – the commander of Hamas’ Southern National Security District – was also taken out during a massive attack on Hamas military targets.

“Throughout the day, the IAF attacked about 250 military targets – mostly in the northern Gaza Strip,” the air force said.

The terror chiefs’ deaths came a day after two other Hamas honchos, including the commander of a killer paraglider that slaughtered Israeli civilians from the air, were killed in similar Israeli-led strikes.

Murad Abu Murad, the head of the Hamas Air Force, was taken out when Israeli Air Force fighter jets targeted the Gaza City headquarters.

Ali Qadi, identified as the “company commander of Hamas’ ‘Nukhba’ commando force,” was killed in a separate attack.

“Ali Qadi led the inhumane and barbaric massacre on October 7 of civilians in Israel,” the IDF tweeted on Saturday.

“We just got rid of it. All Hamas terrorists will face the same fate.”

The string of attacks came as Israeli forces positioned themselves along the Gaza border and drilled for what Israel said would be an air, land and sea campaign to “destroy” the militant group.
