Hamas claimed that anywhere between 200-300 people had been killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Ahli Arabi Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday.
Hamas is currently holding 200 hostages, with about 50 other kidnap victims being held by “opposition factions and elsewhere,” a Hamas military spokesman said in a televised statement Monday, according to local media reports.
The “integrated and coordinated attack from the air, sea and land” that the Israel Defense Forces announced Saturday they were preparing “does not scare us and we are ready for it,” a spokesman for the terror group said in a video Monday.
Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was heard telling IDF soldiers “the next stage is coming” during a visit to two of the kibbutzes destroyed by Hamas terrorists.
