Emotional video shows a 5-year-old Israeli girl surrounded by her happy classmates on Tuesday — her first day back at school after being freed by Hamas terrorists.
Emelia Aloni is shown in a touching video excitedly waiting for one of her teachers to unlock the front gate to the school as she returns to class for the first time.
Emelia and her mother, Danielle, 44, were released from custody last week, and the little girl returned to school in bright blue and pink.
The footage shows the little girl’s teacher meeting her at the gate with a big smile on her face after almost 50 days of not seeing the child. The teacher then pulled the child into a tight hug before the student ran towards the front door, where a group of four girls met him, hugging him tightly, according to a video posted to Twitter.
Emelia smiled from ear to ear as she hugged each of her friends many times.

Soon, more young scholars came out of the classroom door shouting his name and came to spy on their classmates.
Finally, another teacher took his hand and led him into the educational institution.
While being held hostage, Danielle was forced to write a letter about how Hamas treated her daughter like a “queen.
“Children should not be in prison, but thanks to you and the kind people we met along the way … my daughter considers herself a queen in Gaza,” the letter – published in Hebrew and Arabic – read.

The mother and daughter duo were arrested on October 7 at Kibbutz Nir Oz and taken to Gaza.
More than 100 hostages have been released during a seven-day ceasefire in which Israel released Palestinian prisoners in exchange for hostages. More hostages are still being held by terrorists.
