It’s a new year for former first daughter Ivanka Trump. The American businesswoman celebrated her 42nd birthday over the weekend with friends and family.
To mark the new age, she shared a loving photo of herself and her family taken at their home where the party was held.

Ivanka took to Instagram to share moments from her birthday party, which appeared to have been taken before the guests arrived.
One of the snaps she uploaded was a picture of herself, her three children, Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick, and Theodore James, her husband, Jared Kushner, and their pet dog.
Ivanka and her only daughter wore beautiful gowns, with the entrepreneur opting for a light pink one-piece that came up above her knees while the 12-year-old opted for an olive green dress.
Meanwhile, the boys were all dressed similarly in white tops and matching pants, though Kushner’s had crewnecks and his sons, long-sleeved shirts.
Ivanka also took a solo photo with her last child and another with her husband. All three photos were taken outdoors, featuring the Kushner home’s beautiful backdrop.
Ivanka captioned the photo carousel with a statement expressing her gratitude for entering a new age.
She wrote, “Celebrating my birthday this weekend surrounded by friends and family. Here’s to another year of great memories with my favorite people!”

Ivanka Trump Tries to Fight to Testify Against Her Father in His $250 Million Civil Case

Ivanka’s birthday comes after she made moves to bar herself from testifying against her father, Donald, and four Trump Organization executives, including her brothers, Donald Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump.
He was previously dismissed from the case in June because of the statute of limitations. However, the New York Attorney General’s office issued subpoenas to several corporate entities associated with him in an effort to get him back on the witness stand.
To fight the subpoena, Ivanka’s lawyer, Bennet J. Moskowitz, argued that the subpoena was improperly served.
“Each of these three subpoenas lists Ms. Trump’s name only on the ‘to’ line above the name of the LLC and the name and address of their registered agent,” the lawyer said in the filing, per People In Business.
“The Subpoena Body requested a ‘personal appearance’ ‘to testify’ at the hearing but did not identify any specific employees, officers or directors that the NYAG wanted to appear.”
Trump’s lawyers also argued that Trump had previously been fired from the case and that the attorney general’s office was “effectively trying to force him back into this case” despite never removing him from his position in the first place.
He Will Testify On November 8th

Unfortunately, Ivanka’s attempt to recuse herself from testifying at her father’s trial failed when the judge upheld the subpoena.
He was then scheduled to testify last Friday. However, the lawyer said that questioning him would take a full day, so the date was moved to November 8.
From all indications, Ivanka is linked to the fraud case because she served as the Trump Organization’s executive vice president for development and acquisitions before she left the company to join the White House in 2017.
The state attorney argued that his sensitive position in Trump’s company made him aware of some of the events of the case. They also claim that the mother of three is still involved with the family business and its leaders.
After Ivanka’s testimony, the defense will begin calling witnesses. They had prepared a witness list containing 127 names, as required, before the start of the trial.
