Jake Bobo is a wide receiver for the UCLA Bruins and is the son of Casey and Mike Bobo. Jake’s family sports background includes his grandparents and aunts, in addition to his parents. David Hagerman, his maternal grandfather, played four seasons of ice hockey at the University of New Hampshire. Likewise, one of her aunts, Jamie Hagerman Phinney, played ice hockey at Harvard. At the 2006 Olympics in Torino, Italy, he earned a bronze medal with the US hockey team. Kully Hagerman Reardon, her other aunt, excelled in field hockey and lacrosse at Middlebury College. He played an important role in the NCAA Lacrosse championship. So, the Bobo family has a long and distinguished sports history, and Jake Bobo continues that lineage with his stellar football career.
