On Saturday, Cameron took to his official Instagram and Twitter page to issue a statement on the rumor. He said, “I usually don’t respond to offensive rumors in the media, but I have to now. I am NOT talking about the OceanGate movie, and I will never be talking about the OceanGate movie.
Cameron is a famous submarine enthusiast who directed the famous 1997 movie “Titanic”. The Academy Award winner also famously traveled to the original wreck about 30 times, which is a record number.
