On March 29, 1913, James was born to Charles Jackson Goble, Sr. and mother Anna Thomas-Goble (Smith). He was born in Marion, Smyth County, Virginia, USA.

James grew up in a small middle class family. He has four siblings, three of whom are unknown. Three of them are believed to be siblings, with the fourth being his sister, Helen Goble McClanahan.

Born and raised in an American family of African descent, he was subject to the hidden discrimination that plagued American society at the time.

He, however, graduated and began a career as a teacher.

Katherine, his wife, was the only love of his life that the media knew about. On August 26, 1918, he was born into a simple nuclear family with working parents.

His father was a farmer, and his mother taught young children at a nearby school. Katherine and James were both born and raised in West Virginia. His ancestors came from White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia.

James is a chemistry instructor. He lives in Marion and is married to an educated and elegant university graduate. Life went well until the mid-nineteenth century, when James fell.

While James was in their hometown, he fell ill. His illness was a protracted battle against an inoperable brain tumor (cancer). This is expensive and exhausting.

His wife had to work because she could not continue working.

It is believed that James and his wife worked various jobs, such as teaching, to support their children throughout their lives. Katherine had to wait for the opportunity to enroll in a university degree and get a job at NASA because she was a unique brain inside a black woman during discrimination.

Death of James Francis Goble

In 1953, NASA hired his wife. James left this world three years after he was hired. Katherine is in a difficult situation. She is caught between a serious job and a terminally ill husband. For years, her family focused on treatment and hope.

James was battling cancer and had a hard time taking his last breath. The unwavering support of his family was the only hope he had in his final days. On December 20, 1956, at the age of 43, he breathed his last.
