“He’s not 100 percent and still taking it easy, but he’s definitely on the road to recovery,” the insider said, per US Weekly.
The source also praised the “Django Unchained” star’s family for their support in these moments, adding that they “made sure that he didn’t take too much.”

Most recently, he was seen doing an act of goodwill by returning a lost wallet to its owner while in Chicago.
A video of the actor’s good gesture was taken by the wallet’s owner’s son, who also noted that Foxx was “feeling good.”
“Mom lost her bag in Chicago today. Jamie the fox [sic] found her and brought her to him, and she said she felt good. Oh God, it’s okay,” the wallet owner’s son captioned the video.
It appears that Foxx arrived at the location in a sleek black SUV, as he was seen entering the vehicle after returning the wallet.
He also waved to the woman before leaving in his car. She responded with, “Thank you, Jamie,” expressing her gratitude to the actor.
