Actress Jamie Lynn Spears opens up about her relationship with her sister, Britney Spears.
The two recently made out when the “Hold Me Closer” singer visited her siblings on the set of “Zoey 102.” Fans were somewhat surprised to hear that the two had reconciled, considering the two had a very public feud on social media following the release of Jamie Lynn’s memoir, “Things I Should Have Said.”
Although the two sisters seem to have mended their relationship, the “Zoey 101” star remained emotional when recalling the public feud with her sister.

The 32-year-old actress recently opened up about her relationship with her sister to Variety ahead of the release of “Zoey 102.” Jamie Lynn said that she “has nothing but absolute love for every member of my family,” although she did not name her sister directly.
She went on to discuss her feud with the pop star, saying, “If I’ve learned anything from last year, being so open and feeling like I have to stand up for myself at times, I don’t think there’s anything else I need . to say.” Jamie Lynn added, “I just had to leave it because the conversation was meant to be personal. All I can focus on right now is my daughter, my husband, and the work I do.”

Jamie Lynn has two children and has been married to Jamie Watson since 2014. She hinted that the fight she had with Britney might have a negative impact on her family. “It makes me sad,” he said, tearing up as he recalled last year’s public spat. As much as it hurt him, he didn’t want his daughter to share the same emotions.
“I don’t want my daughter to feel that way. So I have to say that I absolutely will not allow my children – especially my eldest daughter, who is very affected by all that – I will not allow her to feel this way in her life, “said Jamie Lynn. “My strength is from love for my kids and wanting to make sure I don’t give way to anything other than what I know to be genuine and true. It’s hard, but at the end of the day, look where I am now.”

Jamie Lynn was asked what she said to her daughter Maddie when she came home and said the other kids at school were talking about her aunt, Britney Spears. “I said, ‘You should be proud. See what your family has done and achieved. We come from a small town, and now everyone is fascinated by the good and, especially, the bad. But look at the strong female role models you have. You have something to be proud of, and you should be proud of that,’” Jamie Lynn remembers.
However, he admitted, “And kids are kids, so I’m sure there are a lot of meaner things they do to each other in high school.” Later in the interview, Jamie Lynn was asked directly if she only wanted to be in front of the camera after she saw Britney do it. However, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress replied that she always wanted to be an actress and be in front of the camera.

“I can’t remember a time where I didn’t want to do it. And I definitely see someone too. Everyone has an idol and I happen to be related to mine,” he said. “Of course, you will be inspired by what you have, but I don’t remember ever thinking about doing anything else.”
Jamie Lynn was then asked if she and Britney would share the stage together again. Given that Britney has posted and deleted numerous Instagram posts stating that she doesn’t want to tour anymore, it looks like such a thing will never happen. Jamie Lynn also seemed to doubt the possibility when she replied, “I don’t know.”

“I think right now I’m really just focusing on me and what I’m doing,” he added. “I’ve worked hard to be a part of a show like ‘Sweet Magnolias.’ And then fought hard to bring back the characters from my childhood. That’s all I can think about now because my dream has come true.”
