Jamie Lynn Spears has joined “Dancing With the Stars” for the upcoming season, where she received special treatment from the production team.
The “Dancing With the Stars” team went to great lengths to make sure the contestants could compete, as the production crew allowed the “Zoey 101” star to practice near her home in Tennessee instead of in the LA studio. The local practice seems to help Spears a lot as she is a very doting mother to her children, 5-year-old Ivey and 15-year-old Maddie.
Almost all of the other contestants for the upcoming season appear to be rehearsing at a studio in Los Angeles, so the fact that the “Dancing With the Stars” team accepted Spears shows how much they want her this season.
Now, fans are talking about the special treatment, insulting the “Zoey 101” star.

Fans were not happy that Spears was getting special treatment when one user spoke up and said, “How is Jamie Lynn Spears considered a star. And what do you mean ALLOWED?”.
One more expressed, “Emma Robert & Jamie Lynn Spears have the same energy. Spoiled white baby girls intrude on the success & names of their more famous siblings. Not as talented as those said relatives either.”
While a user tweeted“They must be heartbroken for the participants for this concession..”.
Others, however, supported Spears. “So are all the stars. Experts go to them,” one fan stated as another said, “I’m rooting for you, Jamie Lynn.”

Jamie Lynn Spears To Donate ‘DWTS’ Salary

Despite the backlash she faced for getting special treatment, the former Nickelodeon star said she will donate her “Dancing With the Stars” salary to the WGA writers’ and SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike.
“Decided to lace up my dancing shoes for a good cause,” Jamie Lynn captioned her Instagram post. “I’m being offered a truly extraordinary opportunity from something I’m used to doing, but it’s during my community #SAG & #WGA strike & all of us members can’t work until we reach a fair resolution, so if I can use the unique opportunity this is to bring more awareness and to donate the salary I get to dance every week back to the community that has given me so much, so that’s the least I can do.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than @alanbersten to guide me through this adventure,” he continued. “I’m not going to lie, I’m scared, but I’m just going to have fun and hope to give back in a meaningful way so we can ALL GET BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS.” He ended his post with the hashtags #SAGAFTRASTRONG, #WGA, and #SAG.
