On Thursday, just a day after Sam Asghari filed for divorce, Jamie Lynn took to Instagram to share a photo of herself on the picket line. In the caption, she wrote, “Had my #SAG card, before I had my driver’s license.” The child star limited comments on her post, preventing fans from asking about the nature of her relationship with the “Toxic” singer.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the two are on the mend, despite Britney claiming that she visited her sister on the set of “Zoey 102” earlier this year. A source told Page Six that the meeting never happened, despite Britney’s claims on social media. The source added that Britney isn’t talking to her mother either.
“His meeting with his mom, it’s going well, but there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled,” the insider said. “Britney is still very angry with Jamie Lynn too.” They added that Britney was “isolated, especially now without Sam” but said she was “hanging in there, all things considered.”

On Thursday, an insider also told TMZ that Britney is once again not on speaking terms with her mother, Lynne Spears, although they were thought to have reconciled in May when Lynne traveled all the way from Louisiana to Los Angeles to visit the pop star at her Thousand Oaks ranch. Britney also claimed to have visited her sister on the set of “Zoey 102.”
Britney has been estranged from her two teenage sons for a long time and has not seen them physically for over a year. Both boys refused to see her before moving to Hawaii, which took place on August 1. A source told the outlet, “He has a confidant, [her manager] Cade [Hudson]. Lynne didn’t know the entirety of what her daughter was talking about, even though the couple spoke again.”
“Britney has been keeping her cards close to her chest about what’s in the memoir,” the source continued. “She’s been chomping at the bit to present her experience of being famous and the role her parents played – and Lynne is being kept in the dark about what Britney has to say about their relationship.” Sources say that her publicist at Simon and Schuster has also warned Britney to “continue to talk about her experiences in the book only to those closest to her in her life.”
