Actress Jamie Lynn Spears has vowed to donate whatever money she earns from appearing on the 32nd season of “Dancing With The Stars” amid the WGA writers’ strike and the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike.
On Tuesday morning, September 12, the cast for season 32 was revealed just one day before ABC released the full lineup of celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners, on Wednesday, September 13.

Shortly after the announcement was made, the “Zoey 101” star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing on the set of Good Morning America with season 28 “Dancing With The Stars” champion and “Dancing With The Stars” Juniors Champion, Alan Bersten, who will be his professional dance partner for the 32nd season.
“Decided to lace up my dancing shoes for a good cause,” Jamie Lynn captioned her Instagram post. “I’ve been offered a truly incredible opportunity from something I’m used to doing, but it’s while my community #SAG & #WGA are on strike & all of us members can’t work until we reach a fair resolution, so if I can use the opportunity this unique thing to bring more awareness and to donate the salary I get to dance every week back to the community that has given me so much, so that’s the least I can do.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than @alanbersten to guide me through this adventure,” he continued. “I’m not going to lie, I’m scared, but I’m just going to have fun and hopefully give back in a meaningful way so we can ALL GET BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS.” He ended his post with the hashtags #SAGAFTRASTRONG, #WGA, and #SAG.

Famous friends like Jessie James Decker praised the decision. She wrote “Yayyy” along with alternating raised hands and a red heart emoji while Jana Kramer exclaimed, “Ya girl!!!!!!” One fan commented, “So excited for you! Definitely a must catch this season now!!” while another follower added, “Are you kidding me!?! I am here for EVERYTHING!!!! can. Nope. Wait.”
Alan Bersten also used Instagram to share the same photo of the two of them posing together. “Woooo!!!! I’m so excited to announce that I’m back for the 32nd season of @dancingwiththestars with my new partner @jamielynnspears !!!” he wrote in the caption. “Let’s go!” Jessie James Decker also dropped some clapping emojis on this post, along with a very long “Woohoo.”
Fans Hope Jamie Lynn Won’t Be Forced To Dance To Britney’s Music!

While Jamie Lynn limits comments on her Instagram posts, Alan does not. Therefore, there are many fans of her sister, pop star Britney Spears, who question her appearance on the show. “I feel like I’m out of the loop. Did she do anything herself, or is she just Britney’s sister?” one user asked, to which fans were quick to point out she was staring in “Sweet Magnolias” on Netflix.
She also got her start as a child star in “Zoey 101” and recently appeared in the movie “Zoey 102”. Other fans were upset to see people rejecting Jamie Lynn because of her famous older sister. “Amazed everyone, give him a chance!!! We haven’t heard from his sister in years. See people are already making fun of them because of her sister’s popularity.
