Actress Jamie Lynn Spears will reportedly say nothing about her famous sister, pop star Britney Spears, during her appearance on “I’m A Celebrity.”
According to a new report, the “Zoey 101” star has been banned from using her sister’s name on the show, because the Pop Princess doesn’t want her sister to make money off of her name.
Did Britney Spears Ban Jamie Lynn Spears From Saying Her Name On ‘I’m A Celebrity’?

Jamie Lynn Spears is currently competing on “I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here.” On Sunday night, the 32-year-old actress arrived at the jungle camp to begin filming the British reality show. She was slammed online for referring to herself as a “singer and actress” and not mentioning her sister at all.
However, on Monday, a source told the Daily Mail that the pop star does not want her younger sister to use her name and finds it “sad” that Jamie Lynn continues to compete on the reality show. After appearing on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” last year, she had a brief stint on “Dancing With the Stars” earlier this year.
“Britney has banned Jamie Lynn from talking about it,” an insider told the outlet. “He told her to, this time, make him money without feeling the need to use his sister’s name to get a contract. For Jamie Lynn’s entire career, every performance, every appearance, every interview was Britney, Britney, Britney. It’s just sad.”
‘Growing up, my sister became famous, famous all over the world, when I was young’

Insiders point to Jamie Lynn’s brief appearance on “Special Forces: The World’s Strongest Test” as evidence that the “Sweet Magnolias” actress was only chosen for the show based on her connection to the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer.
“Growing up, my sister became famous, famous all over the world, when I was very young,” Jamie Lynn said on the Fox reality show. “’I think I just want to love [prove that] Like I’m worth something. I’m so proud of him, love him to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I have nothing for myself.” She later left the show after the second episode, saying she didn’t want to spend time away from her daughters: Maddie, 14, and Ivey, 5.
“The producers used it as an opportunity for him to touch Britney and he did, crying and stuff. It’s perfect for what they need from him,” the source said, noting that things will be different for his appearance on “I’m A Celebrity.”
“’Britney told Jamie Lynn when she was cast on I’m A Celebrity that she didn’t want to hear her cry anymore about how she was always living in her sister’s shadow. Jamie Lynn has played the record so many times Britney just wants him to keep her name under wraps,” the source said.

It seems that Jamie Lynn has no plans to bring up Britney at all, as she introduced herself by saying, “I’m famous as an actress and a singer. I’ve been doing it since I could basically walk.”
“There’s every misconception you can have on someone about me so I don’t take anything seriously. But I think going on I’m A Celebrity will be a good way for people to see the real me,” she continued, adding, “It’s a chance to be myself and do something really great and have some great experiences in Meanwhile.”
Jamie Lynn Refused to Use Her Sister’s Name When Asked About Her Musical Background

On Sunday, one of Jamie Lynn’s campers – British TV host Josie Gibson – tried to get the “Zoey 102” actress to talk about Britney Spears in the first episode. “Who got you into music?” asked Josie.
“I’ve always been into music, you know what I mean?” Jamie Lynn answered, prompting Josie to ask her about her “very musical family.” Jamie Lynn replied, “Yes” before talking about how her mother, Lynne Spears, often plays the piano.

It seems the actress is completely avoiding mentioning her famous sister’s name as the two siblings work to mend their relationship. An insider told the outlet, “Britney is communicating with her sister right now and it’s a work in progress. She’s always been forced to play the role of mother to Jamie Lynn and still feels that responsibility.”
The insider also noted that Britney can’t entirely blame her sister for her 13-year conservatorship. “Britney realizes that she can’t blame her sister like her parents,” the source said.
