Jana Kramer is pregnant for the third time!
The actress and country singer, who is already a mother to two children — Jolie and Jace — is expecting her first child with fiance Allan Russell. The exciting news comes after the “One Tree Hill” alum took to his podcast to inform fans that Russell popped the question during a lovely night at the new home they’re building together.

Kramer and Russell are expecting their first child together after six months of dating and less than a month after they got engaged. The 39-year-old mom-to-be exclusively shared the news with PEOPLE, using an image of a positive pregnancy test result at her home. During the “Soccer Mama” star’s conversation with the outlet, she happily said:
“I didn’t think it would happen again if I’m honest. I’ve been through a lot, so this is a very beautiful thing.”

“I let it all sink in. It was everything I wanted and more. Allan is very sweet. He wrote me this little sticky note saying, ‘You deserve a happy ending,’” added the mother of two.
Although this decision seems rushed, Kramer explained that he and Russell – who is already the father of a son – had started talking about expanding their family earlier this year. In the words of the “I Got the Boy” singer:
“I had a miscarriage, so I didn’t know if it was possible. I was like, yeah, it would be wonderful for us to create something because I love this guy.”
She went on to explain that while being pregnant “will be a layer with everything that’s going on,” not knowing if she can get pregnant again affects her mood. Eventually Kramer and Russell decided to give themselves “a month to try” in the lead up to the singer’s 40th, which seemed to be all the universe needed to give them what they wanted.
“I had this metallic taste in my mouth,” Kramer recalled when she suspected she was expecting during her and the former football player’s March trip to Los Angeles to attend the iHeartRadio Music Awards. He continued:

Seven-year-old Jolie’s joy was then doubled when Russell got down on one knee to ask his mother in marriage a few weeks later. “I cannot move now to England with my two children. I don’t think that’s fair, at their age, for my ex and all that, so what can you do?”
He later detailed that staying in the same place was a big part of his and the father-of-one’s plans, revealing, “And with his work as well, it’s one of those things where he’s a football coach, so he works in England. , potentially working here in the United States. So I think the goal is to be in the same place.”
However, Kramer expressed no interest in moving her children to the United Kingdom, claiming that she and Russell were considering other options, such as her soon-to-be husband visiting Nashville during his months-long sabbatical.
