Singer Taylor Swift finally released her tenth studio album, “Midnights,” and it quickly became the most streamed album in a single day in Spotify history.
Although Taylor collaborated with some incredible legends on the album, such as Lana Del Rey and actress Zoë Kravitz, she did not get the chance to work with the legendary Janet Jackson. Even so, the “I Bet You Think About Me” singer still found a way to fit it into one of her songs on the album.

In a 43-second TikTok video, the “Together Again” singer posted a clip of her listening to the bridge and chorus of one of Swift’s most popular songs on the album, “Snow On The Beach,” which she co-wrote and sang with Lana. Del Rey.
In the bridge, they sing, “I can’t speak / I’m afraid to fool her / But your eyes are like flying saucers from another planet / Now I’m all for you like Janet / Can this be real? Can it be?”
In the video, Janet smiles when she hears her name and continues to hum and shake her head to the chorus. When the chorus ended, he said, “Good. That’s good.” In the caption, she wrote, “i LUV it,” tagging Taylor Swift in the video.

The video got hundreds of posts from Swifties who wanted to see the two work together. “I love that he listens! Mega fan of both … this makes me so happy!” commented a fan. “Legends support legends,” wrote another follower. “Call out @Taylor Swift and feature @Jacket Jackson on the REMIX!!!!” shouted a third fan.
“Wow! I bet Taylor will lose her mind when she finds out Janet likes her song and her tribute to her,” wrote another fan. “I giggled when he referred to you Janet! I adore you even more that you like Tay!” another follower shared. “This makes me smile so much mug omg janet x taylor when?” asked another fan.

On October 21, Spotify tweeted, “And before the clock could strike midnight on October 22nd, Taylor Swift broke the record for the most streamed album in one day in Spotify history. Congratulations, @taylorswift13.”
In follow up tweetsthey revealed that “Midnights” was not only Spotify’s most streamed album in one day, but Taylor had broken the record for the most streamed artist in one day in Spotify history.
Taylor replied, “How did I get lucky, to have you here doing something this confusing?! Like what just happened??!?!”

In another tweetswhich includes several photos of her working with her longtime friend and collaborator, Jack Antonoff, Taylor called “Midnights” a “wild ride of an album” and thanked Jack for being her “co-pilot on this adventure.”
“He’s my friend for life (I know but I’m sticking up for him) and we’ve been making music together for almost a decade HOWEVER… this is our first album we’ve made with just the two of us as main collaborators.
