He started singing at the age of 6. His mother motivated him and asked him to join music or dance as a hobby. Jasmine was educated at MGN Jalandhar Public School.

When he was 12 years old, his family moved to California. She graduated in Psychology from California. Jasmine started writing songs when she was only 16 years old. At first, his parents did not support his choice to become a singer. After completing his studies, Sandlas did some odd jobs such as selling jerseys at a jersey store and shoes at a shoe store in California. He then worked as a teacher for two years before starting his music career.

Career

Jasmine started her singing career in 2008 with the song “Muskan” written by Lalie Gill. The song was a huge success. In 2012, he collaborated with Bohemia for his album “Gulabi” which earned him recognition in the Punjabi music industry. Next, he released his single “Punjabi De Javak in 2015. He made his Bollywood debut in singing with the song “Yaar Na Miley” from the movie ‘Kick.’ The song gained widespread popularity. After that, she sang “Ishq Da Sutta” for the movie ‘One Night Stand’ and “Raat Jashan Di” for the movie ‘Zorawar.’ Some of his popular songs include “Baddal, “Laddu,” “Bamb Jatt,” “Punjabi Mutiyaran,” “LV Di Jean,” “Illegal Weapon,” “SIP SIP” and “Patt Lai Geya.”

His hit song “Yaar Na Miley” was recorded over the phone. It happened when Yo Yo Honey Singh called her and told her that he wanted to make a song with her. Honey asked Sandlas to write and record a song for her. After that, Jasmine recorded it over the phone and the phone vocals were chosen for the film.

Jasmine believes that if she had grown up in India, she would never have become a singer.

When Jasmine was in California, she, to promote herself and connect with producers, once made a CD of her songs and printed her name and number on it. He once took the CD and stood in front of a club and handed out the CD to locals asking them to contact him if they knew any of the songwriters. It was only through that CD that he received a call from Bohemia for his first album.
