A jealous Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly sticking a needle intended for her dog’s rabies shot into her boyfriend’s eye after accusing him of “seeing other women,” police said.
Sandra Jimenez, 44, of Miami, and her boyfriend of eight years had been arguing continuously about the man’s eyes on Saturday when things turned violent, according to authorities.
When the couple arrived at their home on Northeast 62nd Street shortly before 10 p.m., Jimenez allegedly took the opportunity to teach her boyfriend a painful lesson.
When the unsuspecting man was lying on the couch, Jimenez “jumped on him with two rabies needles for their dogs” and poked him in his right eyelid, Miami police said in an arrest affidavit cited by Fox 35 Orlando.
The victim called police and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he met with detectives.

Jimenez said he left the house after he “realized what he had done.” The woman was arrested that night when responding police officers found her sleeping in her car outside the home.
Without batting an eye, the 44-year-old suspect allegedly claimed that her boyfriend’s eye injuries were somehow self-inflicted.
Jimenez was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail on the aggravated felony charge, but he was bonded out and ordered held under house arrest.
Jimenez is expected back in court for a hearing on Dec. 26.
