New York-born, South Florida rapper J $tash is accused of killing his girlfriend Jeanette Gallegos on New Year’s Day 2022. According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, police heard at 7:14 a.m. about a possible domestic abuse-related incident near the 9200 block of Pentland Street in the suburbs of Temple City in Los Angeles. Later, deputies found the bodies of Jeanette and J $tash at the scene.
“The female victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while the male victim sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.” Deputy Sheriff Grace Medrano reported to The Independent.
As reported, the rapper had an argument with his girlfriend and she took him to the master bedroom, where he locked the door. The dead body was found in the room. PEOPLE reported that the female victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, while the male victim suffered self-inflicted gunshot wounds”
Speaking about the incident, Lt. Derrick Alfred revealed to KTLA, “Right now, the evidence at the scene and the initial information we have from the children in the home is that it was a murder-suicide,”
Regarding their relationship, Jeanette and J $tash reportedly started dating each other a year earlier.

The three children were sent to their relatives to live together.
