Former talk show host Jeannie MayThe divorce battle with rapper Jeezy is getting worse.
According to court documents obtained by ExplosionMai sought an investigation into her estranged husband’s finances after the rapper filed a motion to enforce their prenuptial agreement.
Mai believes she may not have gotten a fair deal from their prenup, claiming she never got a chance to properly understand Jeezy’s finances before heading down the aisle.

Former co-host of “The Real,” Mai demanded to see her estranged husband’s finances as she pleaded with a judge to stop enforcing their prenuptial agreement.
Mai insisted that because the prenuptial proceedings moved so quickly, she was unable to fully investigate the terms of the agreement. According to the TV personality, she and Jeezy started prenuptial talks just five days before the wedding.
Court documents obtained by Explosion, read in part, “Given the compressed time frame, it is inherently challenging, if not impossible, for any party to engage in comprehensive due diligence. The result is an inability to fully understand, examine and verify the accuracy of disclosed financial information, and cast doubt on the integrity of the agreement.”
It also stated that although the prenup seems to meet all the requirements, Mai “has significant reservations about [Jeezy’s] financial disclosures, requiring a thorough investigation” of his finances.

While chatting with Jennifer Hudson on her talk show, “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Mai opened up about how “broken” she was by her split from Jeezy, whom she married in 2021 during the pandemic in an intimate wedding at their home in Atlanta.
“I was going through something and the marriage ended in divorce and it was quite difficult. That’s what I deal with day by day, you know,” said Mai, adding, “I think I’m getting better now.”
The reality TV star stated that she was “saddened” by the news which she claims blindsided her, but emphasized that she is now working for herself and being there for her daughter.

Mai said, “The moment I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage ended in divorce, I was devastated. Today is about picking up the pieces. It’s about finding me and being a mother to the best blessing in my life, my daughter. “
She continued, “Even though this year, I met the most broken version of me, I also met the strongest version of me.”
Further in her conversation with Hudson, Mai gushes about her daughter, saying that she is “everything” and “just my whole world.” She happily added, “Every parent can tell you that when you have a baby, you get a chance to be reborn. The whole world has become a completely different place to me because of Monaco, so reviving my life and nurturing myself through this little girl has been the greatest gift of my life.”
