Jelly Roll pays $1,000 for his favorite Thanksgiving ‘dressing’ after forgetting to order — with some help from TikTok, favorite Nashville BBQ

Eat turkey, eat, and don’t forget to dress up!

Nashville superstar country singer Jelly Roll’s last-minute Thanksgiving shopping trip almost ended in disaster until one of her fans saved the day, local Tennessee station WTVF reported.

Jelly Roll, 38, took to TikTok Wednesday pleading with fans that she needed someone to hook her up with Barr’s Music City Soul Food restaurant so they could make her favorite outfit for a $1,000 bid.

“Alright, I’m going to wake up and I need your help. I’m a husband and I do what husbands do– I tell my wife I’ll take care of the dressing…” Jelly Roll begins the video.

The Tennessee native said she called the business multiple times by phone to no avail, forcing her to take to social media in a cry for help.

“We need help! Please. If you have a contact for Barr’s Music City Soul Food in Nashville. It’s the best outfit ever— Tell that lady I’ll give them $1,000 for two pans of Barr’s Music City Soul Food dip for my family to Gratitude,” he continued.

Jelly Roll though go to X platform to repeat her desperate request, saying “I’ll pay someone dear to help me convince them to make me dress up for Thanksgiving.”

Immediately after Jelly Roll made its announcement on TikTok, users flooded the comments section below the video which now has over 3.4 million views.

Fans got a kick out of the short clip, saying how the singer’s wife, Bunnie DeFord, probably reminded him a few times earlier about dressing up.

“You know bunnie reminded him 18 times about dressing before this emergency ??” said one fan.

“How many times has bunnie asked you about dressing before lol” replied another jokingly.

As thousands of fans poured into the comments section, one superhero fan came out of the woodwork to save the day — promising Jelly Roll that he’d break the news to Barr’s Music City Soul Food.

The fan kept his promise and the owner of Jelly Roll’s favorite restaurant accepted a $1,000 offer for the dress.

“Jelly Roll, “We Got You!,” the organization shared to their Facebook, using the hashtag “#1000for2PansofDressing.”

Jelly Roll’s friends came with the business to pick up the dressing pans, assuring the singer’s employees that he didn’t want any more clothes unless it came from them.

“It’s either it or it’s not,” said the friend, named Boston. “That’s what I know. It’s Barr’s or nothing for dressing.”

Barr’s Music City Soul Food posted an updated video to their Facebook to thank Jelly Roll for the $1,000 and free promotion, which earned the restaurant visits from several local news stations for interviews.
