Fitness trainer Jen Selter shares her healthy homemade cinnamon toast crunchy recipe with her followers!
It’s safe to say that many of Jen’s 14.2 million Instagram followers start the day with cereal for breakfast, but the 30-year-old fitness trainer is helping fans cut down on their sugar content in the morning with a healthier version of their favorite childhood cereal!

Earlier this week, the popular fitness trainer took to Instagram to share her recipe for crispy cinnamon toast. The social media sensation brushed several whole wheat tortillas with melted coconut oil before stacking them on top of each other and cutting them into squares. After coating it with coconut sugar and cinnamon, she bakes it at 350F for just five minutes for a sweet breakfast cereal with less sugar than the original version.
“A healthier Cinnamon Toast Crunch recipe you can whip up in 5 minutes … Who else is a bit of a cereal boy for breakfast? Cinnamon Toast Crunch used to be my jam along with several others! But you know, growing up for me means making healthier choices. So if you’ve given up sugary cereal but still get the cravings, this one’s for you!” he wrote in the caption. “It’s childhood in a bowl, but make it healthy!”

While some fans love the recipe, others aren’t so sure that the tortillas will replicate the crispness of the original version. “You’re out of your mind if you think I eat tortillas as cereal,” one user commented.
Other fans love bloopers. “You should drop it back before putting it in the oven,” one follower wrote. “Hahaha I’m just as clumsy,” said another fan. “Can we have more of your reels dropping stuff? That’s the best part,” a third fan chimed in.
In addition to praising her Alo Yoga gym fitness, other followers offered requests about recipes they’d like to see Jen make next. “Can you make healthy Reese’s Puffs cereal?” asked a fan. “Oooh, what a great idea!!” replied Jen.

Just days before she shared her delicious cereal recipe, Jen admitted that she was experiencing late-night sugar cravings. Although he didn’t get a good night’s sleep, he livened up the day and completed an intense workout with his own brand of resistance band.
“Happy Monday Fam!!” he wrote in the caption. “I had a bit of a slow start today. That late night sugar craving got the best of me, and I went to the kitchen, which kept me tossing and turning all night. But you know what? Nevermind! I’m learning not to be too hard on myself when it comes to morning postpartum control which is slower as my body adjusts.”
“BUT– it’s not too late to change today and make it something productive!!” he continued, reminding his followers that “There is no finish line in fitness. It’s a continuous process of growth, learning and self-improvement.”

“Fitness isn’t just about achieving a certain goal or achieving a certain physique – it’s about building a healthier, happier version of yourself every day. It’s about knowing what your body is capable of and pushing those boundaries,” she wrote.
“So, don’t stress about how quickly you’ll reach your fitness goals. Instead, embrace the journey and enjoy the progress you make along the way. Remember, there is no need to rush to the finish line because…. there is none!” he concluded. “Keep showing up for YOU!”
