The TV personality, who was fired from the show in 2019, has revealed that she has “cut all ties” with MTV and some of her former co-stars. So when she returned for a cameo for the “Teen Mom” spinoff, “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” on Tuesday, September 13, fans were surprised and expecting some drama.

Evans joined co-stars Briana DeJesus and Jade Cline for a party celebrating the former’s victory in court against Kailyn Lowry — someone Evans has had beef with before. There was some tension surrounding Evans’ appearance at the party, especially since Cline replaced him on the reality show after he (Evans) was fired. Evans’ firing came after her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot the family dog, Nugget.
ET reported that Eason was previously fired from the franchise in 2018 after tweeting transphobic and homophobic remarks. While preparing for the party, Cline asked his friend:
“I don’t know about Jenelle coming, like, am I going to be so nice to this girl only for her to go online the next day and talk about me?”

The insider added that the tension of replacing Evans in the franchise was an “awkward thing,” revealing his concerns about being caught up in the former MTV star’s drama. He didn’t seem to have to worry as he helped Evans fix his hair when he arrived.

The 25-year-old also had the privilege of hearing Evans rant about her husband, citing his unemployment as the cause of their marital problems. The mother of three then called out the elephant in the room, saying:
“A lot of people ask me, ‘What do you think of Jade? What do you think of Jade?’ And I was like, ‘I have nothing against Jade.’ I was like, ‘If Jade doesn’t talk about me, then I don’t have anything to say about her.'”
Evans’ new take appears to be the direct opposite of his view in August. The Blast previously reported that the MTV alum pledged to cut all ties with the franchise because they refused to give him an exclusive deal.

His manager, August Keen, stated that his client “has a new dynamic series in development, (but) is keeping the concept under wraps for now.” Despite this, Evans’ former co-star Leah Messer previously pleaded for her to return to the show.

The Blast shared in 2021 that Evans had a cancer scare after removing a blackhead from his leg. The sample will be tested for skin cancer, according to a photo uploaded to her Instagram Story. The once-divorced star dropped a few photos before and after the growth was removed. The reality star, who revealed that she has several skin problems, wanted support from her followers.

In one of the photos, Evans wears a bikini and shows off a giant catfish that her family caught on vacation. The mother of three highlights the growth area, which looks like a small freckle, by surrounding it. Captioning one of the images, Evans wrote, “I don’t have any other pictures, but this is a “freckle” that was removed due to asymmetry, and half of it turned dark brown.” “Asymmetry” refers to growth that changes in shape and size.
Another image captured after the removal procedure was captioned, “Daily reminder…go check your moles every year.” While awaiting the results of the biopsy, Evans added another photo of her chest covered in what appeared to be a rash. As with his previous health scare, Evans updated his fans on the situation, writing, “and for those asking why I’m getting checked. I wonder what this is…just happens when I go out in the sun and itches. ”
She added that the doctor told her to wait until she broke to get an immediate biopsy. Fortunately, the internet came to Evans’ aid as several fans noted that the rash resembled a “polymorphous burst of light.”
