Without hiding details about the cause, Hager shared that the accident happened because the ground on his driveway was “icy.” This is more accurately described as black ice, a term used to describe patches of ice on roads that are not easily visible.
Hager also mentioned that being born in Dallas, Texas, is usually known for its mild winters and hot, muggy summers, making him unaccustomed to handling black ice.
