Jenna Bush Hager’s daughter isn’t holding back any embarrassing “truth bombs” about her mom. When 9-year-old Margaret “Mila” Laura went to work with her mom on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna and was asked if she knew what Hoda Kotb loved most about her mom, some truths were revealed.

The conversation started innocently enough when Kotb, 58, asked Mila if she was like her mother. After she shakes her head no and her mother asks how she’s different, Mila doesn’t hold back, saying, “Because I’m better.”
The conversation then turned to talking about the friendship between Kotb and Bush Hager. “You know when I love him the most, Mila? When he laughs so hard, he can’t hold his breath,” Kotb said, to which Mila replied, “Yeah, one time he laughed in our living room and he peed his pants.” Mila then turned to her mother and said, “You changed your pajamas.” Of course, like any parent who has had their child spill their secrets without warning, the moment surprised Bush Hager, 41, a little. “Thank you, Mila,” she said to her daughter. “Thank you very much.”

It didn’t take long for Bush Hager to think of more interesting yet embarrassing facts to spill from his daughter, so it was time to say goodbye to the funny kid. “I love him so much, but it’s time for him to go because if he drops one truth bomb, who knows what will come of it?” Bush Hager said. “I thought Hoda was trying to drop a truth bomb, but not anymore.”

To stir the pot a little more before letting Mila go, Kotb asked Mila if that was the last one she got and of course the 9-year-old boldly said, “No.” Kotb asked for another “little one” and Mila was happy to oblige. “He never wears underwear,” Mila said. It’s pretty clear that Bush Hager isn’t quite ready for the minutiae of his life to be revealed, but Mila isn’t done with it yet. “He’s not wearing it now. I see the change in him,” he added.

A few months ago, the mother of three opened up about how Mila doesn’t hold back her thoughts and opinions. After returning from the trip, Mila has something to reveal to her mother saying that she was right. “I was like, ‘I’m right about what?'” to which Mila replied, “You look better in makeup.”
After telling her daughter she didn’t remember saying that to her, Mila went on to point out a few things. “Maybe, let’s have lunch but I think you should wear makeup,” she said to her mother. Bush Hager also revealed that his daughter has also told him that he “needs to do something about the gray” at different times.
