Talk with InStyle, Aniston shared that engaging in an excessive exercise regimen for over 15 years left her body “on fire.”

“When you’re in the mindset of, ‘I have to do 45 minutes of cardio, or I’m not going to get a good workout,’ it’s scary,” she says, per Daily Mail. “I believed for so long. I was just burnt and broken.”

Aniston, who made the revelation as part of her promotion for her new collaboration with fitness brand Pvolve, stated that her thinking changed after a session with her therapist.

“My physical therapist gave me a Barbie doll covered in Kinesio tape,” she added before explaining what the gesture implied.

Aniston continued, “It’s a silly mental image until you realize the purpose of all those tapes is ‘to show every injury I’ve had in the last 15 years.’

“It’s hard for me to pick a favorite. There are so many! I’m really into Lizzo right now, I love Rihanna, of course, and I love ’90s hip-hop,” Aniston said.

He Wants Others To Adopt A Healthy Exercise Lifestyle

In collaboration with Pvolve founder Rachel Katzman, Aniston hopes to get more people to adopt a healthy exercise lifestyle.

The company has created an “exercise program that pairs functional movement with resistance-based equipment,” which Aniston began using after injuring her back two years ago.

The actor was seen promoting the program while talking to People magazine early week. “I just want more people to know about it because I think it’s really good,” Aniston said of the program, per Daily Mail.

The “Friends” alum also noted that the program, which she touted as “user-friendly,” is a lot different than the others.

“With this, you can start soft,” he said. “My girlfriend changed her entire body, which had a wonderful snowball effect in many positive areas of her life.”
