“White Lotus” star Jennifer Coolidge is definitely in her season of honors and recognition. Just weeks after receiving her first Golden Globe award, the actress is set to attend Harvard University to receive another award. In addition to her acting credits in the award-winning “White Lotus,” Coolidge has starred in films such as “American Pie,” “Legal Blonde,” and several others.

The actress’ performance in “White Lotus” earned her an Emmy award as well as a Critics’ Choice award. He was the only cast member retained for the series’ second season, which aired its final episode on December 11.

Coolidge has a trip to Harvard University planned early next month for a different reason than most. The actress was announced as the recipient of the prestigious university’s 2023 Woman in a Hurry Pudding award. On February 4, Coolidge is scheduled to lead a parade across Harvard Square, after which Hasty Pudding will host a roast in his name.

Harvard University’s Men’s and Women’s Coordinator, Maya Dublin, released a statement expressing how excited the university is to welcome the beloved actress. “We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Coolidge back to her hometown and to Harvard, the iconic setting of ‘Legally Blonde,'” said Dubin.

Coolidge starred in the 2001 film “Legally Blonde” alongside Reese Witherspoon. She reprized her role as Paulette Bonafonté in its 2003 sequel and will play the character again in the upcoming third installment.

After the Pudding Pot prize ceremony, there will be a performance of “Cosmic Relief” by the 174th Puding production. Dubin continued in his statement, “His sparkling personality and comedic presence are very Pudding. We know he’ll fit right in with Pudding’s amazing music, although he still needs to get his Pudding Pot on stage.”

Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theater is the oldest and one of the most prestigious theater organizations in the world. The organization has created the Woman of the Year trophy since 1951. It is awarded annually to people in the entertainment industry who have made “lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment.”

Previous winners of the prestigious award include Viola Davis, Meryl Streep, and Debbie Reynolds. “Better Call Saul” actor Bob Odenkirk will also be presented with the Best Actor award on February 2, however, without a parade.

On Thursday, Odenkirk was named the 2023 Man of the Year by Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatre. He will receive the Pudding Pot award on February 2 during the festive celebration. After the event, the group revealed that Odenkirk will attend a preview of “COSMIC RELIEF!,” Pudding Theatre’s 174th production in a hurry.

Speaking of how distraught he was, Coolidge said, “I was surprised to see how I poured out my heart! I stood in front of that crowd, and I forgot where I was. I have said a lot of my feelings. I’m not trying to be funny — I’m serious.”

The actor was clearly moved by the moment and went on to give an emotional speech about how his earlier dreams of fame had been cut short by life.
