“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence described the recent season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as “boring” and reality star Erika Jayne as “evil.” The actress is a self-proclaimed big fan of the Bravo series and isn’t shy about discussing the show’s 12th season.
Jayne has been embroiled in several controversies, both legally and with housemates, over the past few months. The 51-year-old has been sued along with her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, for embezzling funds from several grieving families.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she thought the current season was “boring” and didn’t have the best opinion of Jayne, whom she described as “evil” and in need of a publicist’s help.

In addition to her role as a very talented actress, Lawrence also plays the part of a “Housewives” fan who loves to watch. The star was at the Toronto International Film Festival with the “Castaway” cast and was told Diversity about what he thought of the recent season as well as his views on the stars.
Lawrence has, on several occasions, spoken about how much she loves the franchise and once joined Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.” In his recent interview, the 32-year-old was joined by his co-star Brian Tyree Henry who is also a Bravo fan but was more hesitant because he didn’t want “Erika to come for [him].”

According to the Oscar winner, the latest season of the show was “boring”; however, he had every intention of getting it done. “Not a great season, but I’ll finish it. Brian [Tyree Henry] and I have Dubai, and we’re done with Dubai,” said the 32-year-old. “My biggest problem with the season [is] that it’s just boring.”

She Calls Erika Jayne ‘Evil’

Further in Diversity interview, Lawrence focused on one housewife, in particular, calling the reality star “evil.” “And I think that Erika is evil. I would go so far as to say she needs publicity ASAP,” the actress said. She revealed that fellow housewives tried to advise her about her image, but their words fell on deaf ears.
“Lisa Rinna is trying to find her and trying to like — she’s not doing the Dorinda thing,” Lawrence said. “Remember when they were in Colombia and Dorinda [wearing]like, f–king Joker makeup and Carole Radziwill just talking to her and leaving it out there — oh no, I’m not talking about this.” The star seemed to hold herself back from saying anything else.

Jayne has been in some controversy for a while, starting with her attempt to divorce her husband, Tom Girardi, and several lawsuits against the couple. Jayne was also recently involved in a disagreement with fellow housewives Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff. The two reportedly asked her to sell her $1.3 million earrings to pay victims of her husband’s alleged misconduct.

Erika Jayne And Tom Girardi Indicted

In November 2020, Jayne reportedly filed for divorce from her attorney husband, Girardi, after 21 years together. A month after the news broke, the 83-year-old man and Jayne were sued by the family of the victims of Lion Air Flight 610. According to the suit, the former lawyer embezzled about $2 million from what would have been a settlement fund for the family.
Through Us Weekly, the lawsuit against Jayne was issued by Edelson PC, a class action organization that accused the reality star of using the divorce as a “sham attempt to fraudulently protect” the couple’s assets. The suit also claims that at the time, the couple was just a hair’s breadth away from financial ruin.
Despite the claim, the 51-year-old pleaded not guilty, and in January 2022, an Illinois court deemed it so. Court documents read, “By order, plaintiff’s claims against defendants EJ Global LLC and Erika Girardi are dismissed without prejudice and without costs.”

Erika Jayne Flirts With Garcelle Beauvais’ Son

Jayne’s recent actions outside of the courtroom may have left some Bravo fans, Lawrence in addition, uneasy. In an episode that aired in July, the housewife attended Beauvais’ birthday party and reportedly said abusive words to her friend’s 13-year-old son and continued to flirt with her 31-year-old son Oliver.
Before the episode aired, the reality star told US Weekly that he had been mixing antidepressants with alcohol while filming most seasons of the show. “Well, look, I’m very open and honest,” Jayne said. “I mixed alcohol and antidepressants, which I didn’t know would make you this drunk, and it did.”
The Bravo star continued, “I had no problems and lessons learned, and we moved on. I mean, would you look at that moment, you know, you’d probably be like, ‘Is that Erika?’ And the answer is yes. I mean, that’s me.” The 51-year-old claimed he had a tough time at the time and had moments when he “didn’t want to get out of bed – more than moments; there were days.”
