Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, unveiled new tattoos to confirm their commitment to each other and immortalize their relationship.
The “This Is Me… Now” creator and the “Batman” actor got matching tattoos that show their initials drawn into an infinity sign and an arrow. Affleck, in the past, came under scrutiny after debuting a large phoenix ink on his back.

In celebration of this year’s Valentine’s Day, Lopez and Affleck unveiled their latest act of love as they debuted matching tattoos to emphasize their commitment and passion for each other.
The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer took to Instagram to reveal details of the event, captioning her photo carousel, “Commitment,” along with an infinity sign. He went on to commemorate the day of love by saying, “Happy Valentine’s Day my love.”

In one of the photos the singer posted, an infinity sign with an arrow can be seen to her left along with the words “Jennifer” and “Ben.” Affleck’s ink shows two arrows crossing each other with the letters “J, B.”
Lopez also uploaded a few more recent photos of herself and her husband getting cozy and packing on some intense PDA.

Some fans had mixed reactions to the power couple’s matching tattoos, with some saying the gesture was “cursed”.
One fan wrote, “Noo Jen, a love tattoo is the kiss of death. Hahaha, love you both. If anyone can break the tattoo curse, it’s these two.”
The second said, “your heart is so warm wrapped in love. Wrapped in Teflon and protected like no other. Ben loves you so much, you both earn from each other,” before explaining that he was happy to know they were on good terms.
“Seriously, I don’t think people understand how great your love story with Ben is. I know for sure he’s your soul mate because you wrote the best album when you were first with him. I’m so glad you found your way to each other again,” a third fan wrote.

The Golden Globe award-winning actress came under fire after she debuted a large phoenix tattoo covering her entire back, claiming at first it was “fake” for a film role.
When asked about the tattoo, he said, “fake for a movie,” adding, “I actually have some tattoos but I try to have them in a place where you don’t have to do a lot of protection, they become addictive, tattoos, after a while .”

The colorful Phoenix tattoo didn’t sit well with Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner after she asked about the message behind the image.
“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart,’” he said. “A phoenix rises from the ashes. Do I become ashes in this scenario? I took umbrage. I refuse to be ashes.”

Affleck didn’t have it with critics after they slammed him for the giant Phoenix ink. In an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” she explained what it meant to her.
The actor said, “I would say it represents something very important to me! It means something to me. I love it. It’s not something I’m keeping secret,” he also added that he likes it and is happy with it.
Phoenix ink isn’t the only thing Affleck is known for. The movie star reportedly has a dolphin tattoo on his lower back which he used to cover up the name of one of his high school girlfriends.
