In an interview with Hoda Kotb on “Today,” she was asked how her children were doing, and she replied, “They’re 15 years old, and they’re teenagers — they gave it to me.”
When later asked what the teenagers were up to, he said, “Everything,” before elaborating on the rapid rate at which they were developing compared to when he was their age.
“They’re growing up,” JLo shared. “They challenge everything in life, they see everything, and these kids have so much information, more than we have.” He added, “So they think and talk about things and life differently than I did when I was 15 or 16.”
Kotb noted that young adults followed the rules in the past, prompting the “Selena” actress to point out that kids today don’t do the same. He explained, “[They are] challenging everything – which is good for our world. I think they’re going to change the world, to be honest – oh, and make it better, better than what we’re doing.”
Shifting the conversation, Kotb admitted that he likes seeing pictures of Lopez and Affleck’s children, noting that there is a “certain way” the teenager looks at the actor, indicating a relationship.
The “Manhattan Maid” star had only good words for his partner as he stated that he has been the perfect father to his children despite having children of his own.
“He is a great father, and also a father figure to them,” he said. “You know, she has three beautiful children, and then there’s us.”
JLo went on to state, “She’s amazing, she’s really stepped up to the challenge of what it is and what it means, and they love her, and they appreciate her, and so do I.” Her children are undoubtedly proud to have such a mother and stepfather, and when they turn 15, the “Anaconda” actress naturally celebrates them with a sentimental tribute on the gram.

Taking the caption, the proud mama stated, “Happy birthday to my beautiful and brilliant coconut. I am so proud of you both in every way.”
After appreciating them for bringing her “so much joy and happiness to my heart and soul,” she expressed her undying love for the twins, ending with “HAPPY BIRTHDAY #Twins.”
