On November 6, Ken Jennings did say that he was leaving Twitter, but it was only a joke in response to the many users who seemed to be fleeing the platform after Elon Musk’s takeover.

Ken tweeted the news in his typical vernacular, write“Who will join me leaving Twitter to watch hours of old Ken Burns documentaries on Kanopy.”

Let’s all turn back to the Usenet newsgroup and collaborate on a short text thread about Portishead and The X-Files. We can cross-post guitar tabs, REM lyrics and Star Trek ascii art here for a short transition period.
