On Monday, “Jeopardy!” producer Sarah Foss shared the hosting schedule for spring and summer on “Inside Jeopardy!” podcasts.
Unfortunately, many fans were not too happy with the decision they made. Although “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions winner Ken Jennings will host the show until the end of April, “The Big Bang Theory” alum Mayim Bialik will take over on May 1 and host “throughout the summer.”

On Monday’s episode of “Inside Jeopardy!” podcast, producer Sarah Foss revealed that Ken Jennings will resume hosting on March 10th after the High School Reunion Tournament ends and will continue through April 28th. At that point, Mayim Bialik will take over starting May 1 and continue hosting until the end of the summer.
“Ken Jennings will be back on March 10, and then he’ll continue the rest of his syndicated run, which will take us through April 28,” Foss said during the podcast. “Then Mayim will take over on May 1, and she’ll take us through the summer.”
At this point, it looks like Ken won’t resume his hosting duties until September at the earliest. Fortunately, Ken has also been tapped to host the new primetime series “Jeopardy! Masters,” which features the top six “Jeopardy!” champions competing again in ten episodes.
Fans Have Mixed Feelings About New Hosting Schedule
As revealed on Inside Jeopardy! podcast, Ken Jennings will return as host on Friday, 10/3 and continue through 4/28. He is not expected to host additional episodes for syndication until after the season, although he will host Jeopardy! The Masters in prime time for ABC (airdates TBA).

A Twitter account called “Is Ken Jennings Hosting Jeopardy! This Week?” announced the news on Twitter.
Account tweeted: “As revealed on Inside Jeopardy! podcast, Ken Jennings will return as host on Friday, 10/3 and continue through 4/28. Unfortunately, not everyone is looking forward to watching the “Blossom” child star take over hosting duties once again.
I hate to say it, but I didn’t really enjoy the show when he was the host. His tone of voice seemed condescending, and the pause before he told people whether or not they were right was very disturbing.

One “Jeopardy!” fan commented, “I hate to say it, but I don’t really enjoy the show when he hosts. His tone of voice seems condescending, and the pause before he tells people whether they’re right or wrong is very disturbing.”
Ken is great, interesting, a natural at hosting! If you absolutely must have two hosts, please consider anyone, except Mayim. He’s robotic and anything but a natural at hosting. He was clearly uncomfortable in the role. He may be a good actor, but a terrible host!

Another follower seems to agree that Ken is the best choice for the job. “Ken is great, interesting, a natural at hosting! If you absolutely must have two hosts, please consider anyone, but Mayim,” they commented. “He’s robotic and anything but a natural at hosting. He was clearly uncomfortable in the role. Apparently Fans Like Ken Jennings To Host ‘Jeopardy!’
The reason why we all watch Jeopardy is because of Ken Jennings and his interactions with the panel and audience. He explains the answers and we learn something every episode. Unlike Mayim who only says NO or YES. You will lose your audience until September

I want Ken full time…I don’t understand why they have the switch-a-roo thing that has nothing to do with people missing half a season of Jeopardy! however. So why can’t Ken be like a regular season, so we don’t miss half a season of Jeopardy! annually. Taste or not…

At least Ken Jennings fans can look forward to him hosting again for a few more weeks before Mayim takes over hosting duties until the fall. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere date for “Jeopardy! Masters Tournament”.
