As for his New Year’s incident, The Blast reported at the time that Renner was clearing the driveway of his Nevada home so his family could return to their home after their holiday celebration when it happened.

A 911 call revealed that a snowcat, the Marvel Cinematic Universe star’s snow removal equipment, had collided with him on Mount Rose Highway in Washoe County.

He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he received immediate treatment and medical attention. A statement released by a representative for the superstar delivered:

“We can confirm Jeremy is in a critical but stable condition with his injuries after suffering a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”

Later, Renner shared a hospital bed selfie featuring a badly bruised face on Instagram, expressing gratitude to fans. “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up right now to type. But I send you all love,” he wrote.
