Jessie James Decker took to Instagram to share her monkey bread recipe, which will be featured in her new cookbook.
“Theresa came to explain how EASY my ooey gooey monkey bread is to make from my new cookbook out October 10th ? Perfect for fall weather? and for me who craves all things bread and sweets ? link in bio to pre order ? @justfeedme , ” he captioned the reel.
One user was not happy with Decker’s monkey bread recipe as they commented, “how do you claim that Monkey Bread, which has been around for decades, is your recipe? and then put it into your own cookbook? how is this right?”.
Decker herself responded to the comment clapping back with, “@ryandwysmom every recipe or food you see stems from another food or recipe or has been around for years. Food is food. Everyone has their own “take” on the recipe. This is my opinion … and for those who didn’t grow up to have it, this is for them to now have to make their own food memories with this classic delicious goodness that I love to enjoy with my family❤️?”

Other fans also came to Jessie James Decker’s defense, responding to the comment with things like “@ryandwysmom it’s her opinion. I’ve never made mine like this but thought hmm, I’ll have to try it this way” and “@ryandwysmom her cookbook is amazing like most anyone can make it. He just shared recipes from his own home kitchen.”

While one of Decker’s fans stated, “@ryandwysmom how did he claim it? Recipes are for sharing. Are you mad that she made a cookbook with home baking recipes that some of us had fun making growing up with our grandmothers? Some do not have that luxury. I learned a lot from my grandmother about cooking and baking and I think it’s great that she spreads love and shares recipes like this. They’re easy, cheap and really good!”
When other fans commented things like “SO DELICIOUS ? The secret is in the sauce (this one is thicker and stickier ?)” and “This is so special my teenage son and I will make this together all the time!
