Jetshen Dohna Lama was born on Saturday, April 27, 2013 (age 10 years; in 2023) in Pakyong district, Sikkim, India. His zodiac sign is Taurus. In an interview, he revealed that he was inclined towards music when he was 3 years old. He studied at El-Bethel Academy in Pakyong, Sikkim. He began his singing training at the Pakyong Music Institute, where his music instructor was Pakyong Music Institute CEO Nagen Chhetri. Later, he was trained by Reemanti Rai at the Remanti Sangeetalaya Academy in Gangtok.

In May 2022, he won ‘Sikkim Idol’ season 1 in the Junior category. ‘Sikkim Idol’ was organized to celebrate the 47th Sikkim State Day. He received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
In 2023, she participated in the season 9 of Zee TV’s singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ and became the winner on 22 January 2023. She won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakhs.
In an interview, when he was asked about what he intended to do with the prize money, he replied,
I want to buy a puppy and build a swimming pool at home.”
