In a new update on her channel, the reality star explained her new book and gave fans a glimpse of what fans can expect from the epic memoir, which chronicles her life growing up and her escape from a toxic religion.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But I think it’s the most important,” Duggar began the video. “I’ve written a book, it’s called “Becoming Free Indeed,” and it’s my story – my journey of untangling faith from fear.”

He went on to explain how he got the idea, recalling how some friends he grew up with had lost their faith and no longer wanted anything to do with Christianity. Although this was not the same for him, he made some changes in his faith.

In his words, “I am a Christian who loves Jesus and wants to follow him — I, like those friends, have rejected many of the teachings I have heard over the years. My faith is still intact, but it has changed. Instead of abandoning the faith entirely, I have elaborated it.”

The tv personality later outlined the details of the book, saying, “In it, I share stories from my life – stories that no one sees when the TV cameras are rolling: stories of fear and uncertainty but also discovery and hope.”

Also, Duggar revealed why she wrote the book. He wrote the book to encourage anyone struggling to relive what they were taught growing up “while loving Jesus.” The author explains, “Really, I wrote this book for any of you who want to examine your beliefs honestly without abandoning God.”

Although this is his first solo book, he has previously collaborated with his siblings to publish several books. In 2015, she joined Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald as co-authors of the book “Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships.”

Jinger Duggar And Her Husband Criticized For Celebrating Halloween

The new update on her upcoming memoir comes days before The Blast reported that the couple was called out for celebrating Halloween because some of their fans insisted that Christians don’t celebrate Halloween.

The couple dressed as Mr and Mrs Brown, while their first daughter dressed as Henry and their second daughter as a jar of marmalade.

However, some fans are not happy with this, and they expressed it in the comments. One fan slammed Duggar, writing, “Pastor like you should know the history of Halloween, I’m a little disappointed you celebrate it,” while another emphasized, “Halloween is not for Christianity.”

One observer chided Jinger, writing, “I don’t think you know the true meaning of this horrible day, why not celebrate Reformation Day, so sad.”

While some users thought the young mother had sinned, others believed otherwise and encouraged Jinger to continue enjoying her life. “Don’t let anyone get you down,” one user encouraged. “You don’t sin by dressing up and trick or treating.”
