While talking to TMZ from the federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas, where he has served a long sentence for animal abuse and the attempted murder of his rival Carole Baskin, Exotic revealed that the series was the worst thing that happened to him.
According to Exotic, the documentary portraying him as Baskin’s potential killer has tarnished his reputation and negatively affected his well-being. He explained that all the footage he recorded was intended for a separate project, created years before the idea for “Tiger King” was conceived.
Exotic also contends that the show’s producers sabotaged her interviews and combined them with footage of other individuals to create a false narrative of a “conspiracy to kill Carole” simply to attract viewers and boost ratings.

As the TV star faces a possible death in prison, Exotic has made peace with himself and everyone else and says he has found a way to forgive his former rivals, Carole Baskin and Jeff Lowe.
Exotic stated, “you know, I’ve forgiven him, and I forgive Jeff and James and Lauren and everybody involved in this case.” He added, “Will I ever forget? Never. Because I’ve been through hell in the last five years, but forgive? I really don’t have any hard feelings. I’ve never had any hard feelings toward Carole Baskin.”
Looking back on his fierce rivalry with Baskin, Exotic believes their feud stems from a sound business move, which he says is expected in the animal rescue industry. He also admitted that he and Baskin benefited from their rivalry.
Looking back, the former Eastvale police chief also shared that owning a zoo was his biggest regret in life and wished he had never met Lowe, whom he described as a “corrupt bastard.”
He Refused Treatment For His Prostate Cancer

According to reports, Exotic’s medical team believed his prostate cancer had spread to his bladder, but the 59-year-old refused treatment. follow TMZthe reality star revealed she recently had blood in her urine and bled a lot during her cancer treatment.
He meets with his urologist, who now believes the cancer has spread to his bladder but wants to run further tests to confirm. However, Exotic reportedly decided not to undergo the treatment and signed a do-not-resuscitate (DNR) order, writing, “I want to stay here and just let it go.”
However, despite his continued health struggles, Exotic continues to maintain his innocence and says he will never stop fighting for his freedom. In a letter obtained by TMZhe wrote, “The world needs to know how corrupt our justice system is … If I should be the innocent one who dies here fighting for the truth, maybe people around the world will finally speak up for the truth just once.”

In a shocking revelation, Exotic revealed she has signed a new will leaving everything she has to her fiance, Seth Posey, with a rather unusual provision. According to a phone call recorded by the prison by TMZthe star made it clear that he had bequeathed his entire estate to Posey, and that if he died before Exotic, the estate would go to Posey’s son Cameron.
The former zoo operator has adamantly said she doesn’t want anyone else to get hold of her valuables, including her ex-husband, Dillon Passage, her former business partner Lowe, or any of her family members. He explained that only Posey was there for him and that he was “sick of people standing in line waiting to collect [his] stuff.” The couple met online when Posey won Exotic’s 2021 “King of the Bachelor” competition.
