Reality star Joe Gorga has denied claims that he instigated Jennifer Aydin’s drink-throwing incident during BravoCon.
The real estate guru opened up when she came on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast. While he admitted his wife Melissa may have said something to upset Aydin, he claimed Aydin’s assistant Erica Madelyn’s claims regarding the confrontation were untrue.
The father-of-three also criticized Aydin for “screaming” and “screaming” during their fight instead of opting for a more public exchange. In a previous podcast, Melissa had expressed her thoughts on the incident, but Aydin has yet to provide a more thorough explanation beyond what his assistant said.

Joe has denied claims made by Aydin’s assistant, Madelyn, who claimed he sparked the scandalous drink-throwing brawl after BravoCon 2022.
Earlier in October, Madelyn had also uploaded a video on TikTok claiming that Joe had insulted Aydin with some insulting remarks, seemingly leading to an argument.
“Everything you hear is a lie,” the 43-year-old said bluntly on Friday’s episode of the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, per Page Six. “Whatever you heard Jennifer’s assistant say, it’s all a lie.”
Reflecting on the incident, the construction business owner added, “The story is out there that he threw a drink at me, and I said these abusive things to him – no. First of all, I was 50 feet away with my wife … Jennifer really likes to dig, and he is involved in my family business.”
However, the father of three shared that his wife, Melissa, “said something” to his co-star that could have angered him.

Joe went on to explain that he wasn’t surprised that the incident turned into a proper argument rather than a mere verbal argument, noting that Aydin isn’t one to take a subtle approach.
He said in the podcast, “If you watch him on TV shows over the years, he drinks a lot, he’s violent, he throws things, he breaks glasses, he wants to stab you with it, he throws knives.”
The real estate tycoon also said that he and Aydin had heated words at one point, but he claimed that it was because the reality star seemed “absurd.”
Joe said, “He’s so out of control it’s embarrassing.” before adding he screamed “like a madman at the top of his lungs.” Additionally, he noted that Aydin’s “crazy” act on “RHONJ,” was far worse in real life.

Although Aydin has not talked at length since it happened, Mellisa shared her own views, just like her husband. Per Page Six, she stated during her appearance on the “On Display” podcast in late October that many people had informed her that Aydin mocked her at the Bravoncon event.
The couple then met by chance in a hotel lobby on the last day of BravoCon. Reflecting on that meeting, Melissa says that Aydin gave her “a sharp look inside [her] eyes” he just walked to the elevator. Not liking the look, Melissa then told her actress, “Keep moving, wannabe. Come on, lose, keep walking. There is an elevator.”
The owner of the Envy store claimed that Aydin began “screaming,” “screaming,” and “cursing” at her and her husband before it heated up to an argument. Melissa also claimed that she didn’t yell at her co-star in the middle of the fight.

While the altercation hints at more drama to come in the upcoming “RHONJ” season, Bravo actor Andy Cohen shared that he found the heated interaction unpleasant.
“I think it’s despicable,” Cohen said Entertainment Tonight. “Period point.” Regarding the ongoing feud between Gorgas and Teresa Giudice, the “Watch What Happens Live” host hinted that fans won’t see reconciliation anytime soon.
He said, “I don’t think it’s going anywhere good anytime soon, unfortunately,” before adding that the next season will bring some fresh blood.
He added, “We’ve got some new ladies in the mix who really energize the show, but they feel like the perfect Jersey, and they fit into the group really well.”
