Joe Rogan is in hot trouble after making an anti-Semitic slur on his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. In a recent show with Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti, the presenter made a remark about how Jews are not interested in money and then called them “stupid.” He also made a chilling comparison to Italians who don’t like pizza, calling him “fu*king dumb.”
All of this follows Rogan’s comments on Rep.’s tweet. Ilhan Omar 2019 who claimed that supporters of Israel in the United States are motivated solely by money, where he stated:
“It’s crazy. Did you see him next to Ilhan Omar, who apologized for saying this was all about Benjamin? It’s all about money. He was discussing money. That is not an anti-Semitic statement, in my opinion. “Benjamin is currency.”
Following the announcement, Krystal Ball felt that Omar should have apologized for his post, adding:
“But can’t you talk about the power of money in DC? I mean, there’s an obvious reason why there’s been a one-sided agreement on the government of Israel in my lifetime.”
The statement of the presenter and his guest did not go down well with netizens, who called them out online:
“This is unforgivable,” said a netizen in response to Joe Rogan’s anti-Semitic statement.

Are we surprised that #JoeRogan is breeding #anti semitic tropes? Not a bit. He continues to embarrass himself and the platform that carries his podcast. https://t.co/jTJjJ092JD

.@joerogan saying “the idea that Jews don’t like money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians don’t like pizza” would make sense if Jews invented money and/or Italians were massacred because of a conspiracy that they controlled the world through pizza. pic.twitter.com/odzZzFHIYG

At this time, neither Rogan nor any of the recent guests have commented or apologized for the statements made in the broadcast. Furthermore, the 55-year-old previously said a few episodes ago that he had long since stopped “noticing the comments” coming in for his program, adding:
“Look, I adore you both. I just can’t read your bullshit.”
While social media is already abuzz with individuals demanding an apology from Joe Rogan and guests, it’s unclear if the trio will respond to the outrage.
A quick look at Joe Rogan and his history with scandal.
This isn’t the first time Rogan has been in trouble for some of his publicly announced views; The podcaster has been involved in a number of issues throughout his career over the years. Last year, during one of his podcast episodes, he repeatedly used the N-word, prompting widespread condemnation from celebrities and social media users. Eventually, the 55-year-old podcaster apologized for his remarks. He, however, argued that the clip was “taken out of context.” He also made headlines recently when Rogan was accused of spreading false information about COVID-19 and vaccinations. As a result, musicians like Neil Young have removed their songs from Spotify.
