John Cusack had some strong words for the Democratic Party elite Monday, when he branded them “full of s—” and blasted them on social media for allegedly selling out the working class “for decades.”
“They have played a major role in creating the right conditions for fascism to flourish – corporate democrat Obama – to the right of Richard Nixon on domestic policy – Don’t believe me – look it up – and the Dems have sold out the working class. for decades – and treason bought and paid for principals like this [sic]justice – historical precedent -any sense of moral or intellectual rectitude – The kind of brutal selfish horrible act that someone only does – because they can get away with it,” he wrote partly on Xformerly Twitter, Monday.
The 57-year-old “Say Anything” and “High Fidelity” star’s long tenure continued by erasing the party’s complacency with rich politics, not being left-leaning enough and ignoring certain principles.
He argues that the trajectory of the party’s elite has planted fertile ground for Republicans like Trump to win.

“All your Yale and Harvard friends will tell you how great and smart you all are – and they’re all in bed with all the same big, big money power players- And we run the world – right? – this shockingly amoral cow— is one of the main reasons (yes there are others) that Trump’s actions are destroying the public. The Democratic elite ARE full of s—,” he continued.
The lengthy statement came in response to an article from Jacobin Magazine that claimed some prominent Democrats were working to ban the federal wealth tax.
“Imagine what FDR would have said about that proposed law?! Don’t worry guys – Democrats will save the .oooooo1% from paying taxes – the arrogance to do this – shocking – it’s a fraud and an insult to everyone’s basic intelligence – an insult to people – To even try this … Unbelievable,” he continued.

He ended the story by accusing Obama’s famous “hope and change” slogan of being “another brand-name rush.”
Cusack has been outspoken about her political stances in the past, lashing out at former President Donald Trump several times, including calling for his impeachment over his alleged mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We need a strike / and we need to remove Trump from power to save lives Strike him again / Pressure for the 25th,” he tweeted at the time.

Additionally, Cusack criticized the former president by comparing him to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler.
He also blasted Trump supporters for voting for, in his words, “mentally ill Nazi rapists, virus spreaders, child abductors.”
