John Stamos has broken his silence on the passing of stylist and longtime star of ‘The Howard Stern Show,’ Ralph Cirella.
Cirella is a close friend of DJ and radio show host Howard Stern and is known for her contributions to Sirius/XM shows.
His death has had a huge impact on Stern, who admitted on his show that he had taken his friend’s passing “very hard.” Stern also credits Cirella for being the reason behind him meeting his current wife, Beth Ostrosky.

Stamos took to his Instagram page to mourn Cirella’s death, writing that his “dear friend” had died at a “very young age, 58 years old.”
The actor continued, “He was, without a doubt, a unique soul. Ralph wasn’t just a friend; he was family. My mother adored him, and I will always cherish the memory of him lovingly counting his “berry” as a piece of red jello on upper lip, playfully trying to wipe it.”
Stamos said he and Cirella “met back in the day when he was working as a makeup artist for Howard Stern’s Channel 9 show,” adding that he “can vividly remember how he transformed Howard into a perfect replica of Larry King, showcasing his great talent and creativity.” .from [that] day forward, we are friends for life, I just wish he lived longer.”

Still in his lengthy tribute to the late stylist, Stamos mourned the loss of his friend who “had so much untapped potential.”

Stamos took the time to share his “last exchange” with Cirella. He shared, “I shared a story about someone who called me lucky. When I asked why, their answer was simple and profound: ‘Because you’re friends with Ralph from the Howard Stern show.’”
The “Full House” star concluded, “And they’re absolutely right. My dear friend, I’m going to miss you so much. I love you, Ralphie boy. Rest in peace. HEY NOW XO.”
Howard Stern Takes Cirella’s Death ‘Very Hard’
Stern spoke about Cirella’s death on his show, noting that the stylist died after a long battle with a “treatable” but “rare” form of lymphoma.
The DJ revealed that his late friend “loved” him and was a “trustworthy friend, who made me laugh every time I was with him.”
In the midst of her grief, Stern shared how hurt she was by Cirella’s passing, saying she was “very sad and very angry,” because the late stylist didn’t “take care of herself.”
Cirella, who has been friends with Stern for more than 40 years, met the 69-year-old after being hired as his personal assistant. He was later promoted to wardrobe consultant and later set designer.
Cirella was also instrumental in helping Stern meet his wife, Ostrosky, as she was the one who urged DJ to go to the party where he met and fell in love with the 51-year-old model.
While talking about his eponymous show, Stern noted that “there were a lot of good times on the show with Ralph,” and that he took his death “very hard.”
