Jonathan Majors became embroiled in controversy earlier this year when his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, accused him of domestic violence. A recent case of physical assault took a surprising turn in the Hollywood man’s favor when police arrested the alleged victim for beating him.
While Jabbari should be charged for his reported crimes against the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” cast, the DA has other plans and refuses to book the former entertainer on assault charges. Although prosecutors were not interested in holding the woman accountable for her actions, the authorities did not back down from the case.
Manhattan Police & DA Charged In Alleged Assault Of Jonathan Majors Against His Ex-Girlfriend
The new drama between Majors and Jabbari began in June after the “Lovecraft Country” star filed a counter-complaint against her previous assault allegations. Four months after the 34-year-old’s lawsuit, the former TV personality was arrested for misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief.
Sources from NYC law enforcement shared the great news with TMZrevealed that Jabbari was arrested on Wednesday, October 25. The blonde beauty was taken to Manhattan’s 10th Precinct for allegedly assaulting the Black Reel Award recipient.
According to sources, the “Loki” star’s ex-girlfriend’s crimes included scratching Majors on his right hand and causing damage to his cheek and ear after slapping him in the face with an open hand. Additionally, Jabbari tore off the buttons of his ex-lover’s coat and damaged the front pocket.

These crimes against Lompoc natives would normally have resulted in Jabbari being prosecuted. However, insiders explained that the Manhattan DA’s office did not want to do what was necessary. Instead, they filed court papers Tuesday, claiming to have informed the NYPD in September of their disinclination to prosecute Majors’ ex-lover.
The DA’s office reportedly stated that it does not intend to hold Jabbari accountable for the “late allegations made by the defendant [Majors] regarding the incident on March 25, 2023.” While the DA has a different take on the entertainer’s ex-girlfriend, the NYPD isn’t backing down.
Authorities believe they have probable cause to arrest Jabbari and will still book him on charges of misdemeanor assault and criminal trespass. Meanwhile, Majors continues to fight misdemeanor assault and harassment charges she received after her ex-boyfriend accused her of assaulting him in a Manhattan apartment.
Following the incident that happened last March, Jabbari was treated for head and neck injuries at a local hospital. However, Majors’ defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, believes the injury was fake because security footage from a club captured Jabbari walking around as usual and partying after he was released from the hospital.
